Is this product safe for pets?

Hi Jim, thank you for your question.
All of our lawn food products contain chemicals. It is best to keep pets off the lawn during application and until the granules dissolve. If your pet uses the lawn as a bathroom then supervise them when they are doing this. Once the granules are dissolved, it is safe to let pets back on the lawn.

Do i need to use this if i only have a few weeds?

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your question. No, it is not necessary to apply this product if you have only a few weeds - however, if you have a lot of moss throughout the lawn and also want to feed and green it, we would recommend this product to you. If you have no moss then the weeds in your lawn can be removed by hand when using a garden trowel - we do have a guide on this that you can follow: https://icanlawn.com/how-to-get-rid-weeds-moss/

How long does it take for them to dissolve after watering and also is it best to scarify and take first?

Thank you for your question. The product takes between 1 - 10 days to dissolve depending how thoroughly you water it. I would recommend applying it just before rain is due and to continue watering it throughout the 10 day period. The product works by killing off weeds and moss, so scarifying after will make this job much easier as the dead material will be loose. Hi Tim, thanks for your question. The ideal time for applying a lawn treatment is from March onwards, as temperatures have usually increased. However, if where you are has temperatures of 8-10 degrees or higher and are consistent, then you can go ahead and apply.

Hi, thank you for your question.
Once applied, wait 2 weeks for the moss and weed treatment to work. After the two weeks you can then remove the dead moss and weeds and prep and sow the seeds. The fertiliser will continue to feed the lawn for a further 4 weeks.
