Sowing rate 5g per m2
When to see blooms This wildflower mix contains meadow grass, annual wildflowers and perennial wildflowers. The meadow grass in this mix helps to keep weeds at bay and will also provide a habitat for wildlife. The meadow grass will grow first when  temperatures are 10 degrees and above. The annual wildflowers will follow and bloom 60-80 days after they are sown. The perennial wildflowers will take up to 12 months to bloom.

Product Questions carrat-down

Product Questions

My lawn needs to be replaced entirely. I am confused about which bags contain grasses and wildflowers seeds (rather than just wildflower seeds to scatter on soil or enrich an ok lawn). I am looking at Bees Please. Will that replace my lawn with grass and wildflowers?
Question by: Myrna Michell on 19 Mar 2022, 10:50
Hi Myrna,

Thank you for your question. Bees Please contains meadow grasses and wildflowers to create a wildflower meadow. You will need to remove any grass, weeds or flora you have in the area and achieve bare soil for this mix to establish well. You can use our How To guide to help you do this: https://icanlawn.com/how-to-sow-wildflower-seed/.

I hope this helps, if you have any other questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact us at help@icanlawn.com.

Many Thanks,
Alex

Please could you tell me what the types of flower and grass is in the Butterfly and in the Bee mix. My dog is allergic to some grasses so I need to be careful, and I am trying to find a mix that doesn't have buttercup which will spread into the garden.

Is it to late to sow?
Question by: Gemma Graham on 5 Dec 2022, 11:00
Hi Gemma, the best times to sow wildflower seed are Autumn and Spring and we would advise against sowing wildflowers from November to February when there is a risk of frozen soil. If you wait until Spring, you can expect to see the meadow bloom throughout the summer months.
